Sunflower NS X 7728 is an early hybrid of the new generation, developed for efficient cultivation under various climatic conditions. This variety features a significant yield potential exceeding 55 centners per hectare, with oil content in seeds ranging from 46-48%, making it particularly valuable for oil production. Plants are characterized by a low stem with large heads and semi-bent heads, which facilitates harvesting and increases resistance to lodging.
The hybrid exhibits high resistance to a broad spectrum of diseases, including false powdery mildew, downy mildew, rust, sunflower moth, fomopsis, gray mold, leaf and stem spots, and white rot. Genetic resistance is ensured by controlled genes, guaranteeing reliable protection against various pathogen strains. Additionally, the variety demonstrates high drought tolerance, making it attractive for cultivation under limited water conditions.
NS X 7728 also stands out for its high attractiveness to pollinators due to intensive pollen and nectar production, which contributes to improved quality and quantity of yield. The recommended planting density at harvest is 55,000-60,000 plants per hectare, optimizing land use and enhancing agronomic efficiency. Seed production takes place in Serbia, confirming their high quality and compliance with modern agricultural standards.
