Sunflower F 618 JKA

Field Performance of F 618 ЖКА

Working with French genetics from Lidea brings a certain level of predictability to the farm. F 618 ЖКА is a reliable hybrid that delivers results without requiring complex intervention. As an operator, the primary benefit here is the robust genetic resistance: the plant handles downy mildew, phomopsis, and phoma effectively, which significantly reduces the need for constant fungicide applications during the growing season.

Technology and Maintenance

For those prioritizing efficient field management, the compatibility with the Clearfield (Euro-Lighting) herbicide system is a game-changer. Controlling weeds becomes a streamlined task rather than a constant struggle. Applying the herbicide during the recommended growth stage is usually sufficient to keep the field clean of broomrape and other invasive weeds until harvest. This efficiency in weed control is a major operational advantage, saving both time and fuel costs.

Yield and Harvesting

With an oil content reaching 50–55%, this hybrid provides the kind of quality that meets market demands. From a harvesting perspective, F 618 ЖКА is very well-behaved. The heads are stable, and the risk of seed shedding is minimal, even if adverse weather forces a delayed harvest. The seeds are well-filled, which makes header adjustment straightforward and keeps harvest losses low. If you are looking for a hybrid that combines French precision with practical, intensive farming needs, this is a solid choice.
