ES AGORA

Sunflower ES AGORA is an early-maturing hybrid of moderate intensity, developed by the company Euralis (LIDEA) and registered in the State Register of Varieties of Ukraine in 2020. It is intended for oil production and is characterized by high profitability under various growing conditions, especially in steppe and forest-steppe zones. The vegetation period ranges from 100 to 105 days, enabling early harvest. Plants have a medium height of 150-160 cm, semi-upright flower head inclination with a diameter of 22-26 cm, and are low-growing, which promotes efficient use of water and nutrients. The hybrid ES AGORA exhibits high resistance to seven races of downy mildew (A-G) and some new forms, ensuring reliable protection of the crop from this pest. Additionally, it is resistant to the herbicide Express technology (tribenuron-methyl) and shows tolerance to several diseases, including false powdery mildew (mildew), phomopsis, sclerotinia of flower head and stem, verticillium wilt, and rust. Strong stem structure and robust root system ensure resistance to lodging and prevent seed shattering, contributing to maintaining the quality and quantity of the harvest. The oil content in the seeds of sunflower ES AGORA is 48-50%, making it attractive for oil production. The recommended seeding rate depends on soil moisture level: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 55-60 thousand under adequate moisture. The hybrid is well-adapted to droughty conditions and demonstrates high drought tolerance, allowing effective use in various agroclimatic zones. ES AGORA has passed successful trials in farms and received positive feedback for its stability and quality of harvest.
