The ES ELECTRIC CLP sunflower is a mid-early, high-oleic hybrid intended for oilseed production. Plants reach a height of 150-155 cm and have a flower head diameter of 22-24 cm. The hybrid is characterized by high seed oil content — 49-50% — ensuring high efficiency in oil production. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, enabling the hybrid to be successfully grown in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe.
ES ELECTRIC CLP features high yield potential exceeding 50 centners per hectare, along with resistance to a wide range of diseases and adverse environmental factors. The hybrid exhibits immunity to downy mildew (resistance level A-G), fomopsis, fomosis, anthracnose, sclerotinia of head and stem, false powdery mildew, verticillium wilt, and rust. Additionally, the plant demonstrates high drought and lodging resistance, contributing to stable yield formation even under challenging weather conditions.
The seeds of ES ELECTRIC CLP sunflower are treated with the fungicide Maxim XL and insecticide Poncho, providing additional protection against pests and diseases during early growth stages. Additional fungicide applications are recommended during the vegetation period to maintain plant health. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this hybrid is an optimal choice for intensive and sustainable sunflower oil production.
