Sunflower Dragan OR is a medium-maturing Serbian hybrid with a vegetation period of 108 to 116 days, intended for conventional cultivation. It is characterized by high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, ensured by a strong and deep root system, as well as medium plant height, contributing to plant stability under high temperatures and dry conditions. The hybrid demonstrates high drought resistance, making it one of the best options for cultivation in areas with limited moisture.

Dragan OR has a high yield potential, exceeding 5.5 tons per hectare, with a genetic yield potential reaching over 55 centners per hectare. The recommended planting density varies by region: from 45 to 60 thousand plants per hectare, allowing for optimized productivity in forest-steppe, central, and southern steppe zones. Plant height ranges from 150 to 170 centimeters, and early growth intensity is moderate, promoting the formation of high-quality leafiness with 28-32 leaves.

The hybrid is distinguished by high oil content in seeds — from 49 to 53%, which is an important indicator for oilseed crops. Additionally, Dragan OR possesses genetic resistance to major sunflower diseases and pests, including downy mildew (A-G), false powdery mildew, rust, fomosis, fomopsis, alternaria, and sunflower moth. This resistance ensures stable yields and reduces the need for intensive chemical protection, making the hybrid an economically advantageous and reliable choice for farmers.
