Sunflower Goldy IR is a mid-early hybrid with a vegetation period of 90 to 102 days and plant height of about 150-160 cm. This hybrid is characterized by high yield potential of 4.4–4.7 tons per hectare and high oil content in seeds — from 45 to 47%, making it attractive for oil production. The thousand-seed weight varies within 53-73 grams, indicating good seed quality.
Goldy IR exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases, including sclerotinia, fusarium, phomopsis, and downy mildew, with resistance rating up to 9 points. In addition, the hybrid shows excellent drought tolerance (8 points), high cold tolerance up to -4°C, as well as resistance to lodging and seed shattering. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for late sowing and second crop cultivation, as well as for Clearfield technology with imidazolinone group herbicides.
Sunflower seeds Goldy IR are supplied in packages of 150,000 seeds and produced in Romania. They are intended for agricultural use and provide reliable and effective planting material for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
