ES NOVAMIS SL is an early-maturing, simple sunflower hybrid of a moderately intensive type, specifically developed for the EuroLighting technology. The vegetative period is 105-110 days, allowing for a quick harvest. Plants reach a height of about 165 cm, and the head diameter is 23 cm. The hybrid is characterized by rapid initial growth, ensuring good development in the early growth phase. The mass of 1000 seeds is 62 grams, and the oil content in seeds reaches 47-48%, making this hybrid attractive for the production of oilseed products. ES NOVAMIS SL demonstrates high resistance to various adverse factors. It has excellent drought tolerance (level 8 out of 10) and a high level of lodging resistance (9 out of 10), which contributes to stable yields even in complex climatic conditions. The hybrid is resistant to 6 races of sunflower rust (A-F), as well as diseases such as Phoma, Sclerotinia of heads and stems, Fusarium, Verticillium, and downy mildew, significantly reducing the risk of yield loss and the need for frequent fungicide application. Recommended growing zones include the Polissia and Forest-Steppe of Ukraine, where the hybrid shows high plasticity and stable results. Yield potential reaches 45 c/ha (4.5 t/ha), confirmed by practical indicators in various soil and climatic conditions. To ensure optimal yield formation, it is recommended to maintain a sowing density of 60,000-65,000 plants per hectare in zones with sufficient moisture and 50,000-55,000 plants per hectare under moisture-deficient conditions.
