PARAISO 1000 CL PLUS is a mid-season sunflower hybrid developed specifically for the Clearfield Plus system. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 116 to 120 days, corresponding to mid-late flowering and maturation. The plants are of medium height — about 160-170 cm, with semi-prostrate heads, which facilitates harvest collection and reduces lodging risk. The hybrid is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and stem brittleness, ensuring crop stability under various climatic conditions.
One of the key features of PARAISO 1000 CL PLUS is its enhanced resistance to soil-applied herbicides from the imidazolinone group, in particular to the Euro-Lightning® formulation, which significantly facilitates weed control and increases crop protection efficiency. Plant density before harvest is 45-55 thousand per hectare, which is optimal for achieving high yields. The hybrid also demonstrates resistance to a range of diseases, including sclerotinia, phomopsis, powdery mildew, grey mold, phoma, and gray mold, reducing crop losses and the need for frequent fungicide application.
PARAISO 1000 CL PLUS is characterized by stable high yields and high oil content in seeds — about 50-51%, making it attractive for edible oil production. The hybrid is not demanding on growing conditions, which allows for successful cultivation on various soil types and in different climatic zones.
