Sunflower PARAISO 1000 CL PLUS

German Genetics for High Performance

The «PARAISO 1000 KL PLUS» sunflower hybrid from the renowned German breeding company Saaten-Union is a proven solution for modern intensive farming. Developed in collaboration with Saaten Union Romania, this hybrid represents European standards of quality and flexibility, allowing farmers to efficiently manage weed populations using the Clearfield (Euro-Lightning) production system.

Agronomic Profile and Disease Resistance

The key strength of this hybrid lies in its impressive resistance to the most common diseases that threaten sunflower yields. Reaching a height of 160–170 cm, the plants exhibit strong natural defense mechanisms against:

• Sclerotinia and Phomopsis;
• Phoma and Powdery mildew;
• Various types of rots, including ash and gray rot.

This genetic "armor," combined with a semi-convex head shape, minimizes potential losses even in adverse environmental conditions during the second half of the growing season.

Production Economics

With a vegetation period of 110–120 days, this hybrid fits perfectly into most agricultural zones as a mid-maturing variety. Its high oil content (50–55%) makes it a prime candidate for processors, offering farmers a premium upon harvest. «PARAISO 1000 KL PLUS» is a balanced choice for enterprises that prioritize predictability and clean fields, achieved through the integration of superior genetics and advanced chemical weed management.
