EU BALISTIC SL

EU BALISTIC SL is a high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed using Eurolighting technology, distinguished by its high stability and crop quality. This hybrid belongs to the early-maturing group with a vegetative period of 105 to 110 days, allowing for harvest at optimal times. Plants reach a height of about 180 cm, while the head diameter is approximately 21 cm. Seeds are black, uniform, with a 1000-seed weight of around 65 grams. The hybrid exhibits high initial growth energy and good adaptation to various soil and climate conditions, including the Polesye and Forest-Steppe zones of Ukraine. One of the key features of EU BALISTIC SL is its high oleic acid content in seeds—up to 91%, which significantly enhances oil quality. The oil mass fraction in seeds is 47-48%, ensuring a high yield potential of up to 4.7 tons per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates resistance to common sunflower diseases, including downy mildew (A-E), as well as drought tolerance and resistance to stem lodging, making it a reliable choice for intensive farming. EU BALISTIC SL planting material is available in the elite class with high germination energy (up to 97%) and elite-level reproduction.
