Flax A 93

Field Performance and Reliability

When selecting the "A 93" flax variety, growers prioritize predictable results. Developed by the Federal Research Center for Bast Fiber Crops (Krylova, Loshakova, Marchenkov), this variety is a proven tool for high-quality fiber production. In field operations, "A 93" demonstrates robust resistance to rust and fusarium, significantly lowering fungicide costs and streamlining daily crop management.

Production Metrics and Lifecycle

This variety is engineered specifically for fiber harvesting. With a fiber yield of 18–25%, farms can count on a consistent output of raw material ready for processing. The flexible maturity cycle of 75–90 days allows operators to manage machinery utilization efficiently during the harvest window.

• Crop type: Fiber flax.
• Growth cycle: 75–90 days.
• Yield: 18–25% fiber content.
• Disease resistance: High tolerance to fusarium and rust.

For an agronomist, working with "A 93" means straightforward agrotechnology. The variety performs reliably under standard crop rotation and soil preparation practices. Because it does not require intensive chemical interventions to combat major fungal diseases, it helps minimize cost per hectare, providing a cleaner and more cost-effective production cycle.
