R 469 CLP is a high-oleic sunflower hybrid developed using Clearfield technology, which provides resistance to the H race of sunflower aphid (Helianthus aphid). The hybrid belongs to the mid-late maturing group with a vegetative period of 109-114 days. It is characterized by high plasticity and stress resistance, allowing successful cultivation in various climatic conditions, including drought and cold. Plants reach heights of 160-170 cm, exhibit uniform flowering, and are resistant to diseases such as white mold and Phoma, as well as lodging, which contributes to a stable high yield of up to 5,9 tons/hectare.
Oil content in seeds ranges from 47-54%, with oleic acid levels reaching up to 92%, making this hybrid particularly valuable for producing high-quality oil. The recommended sowing rate is 45-55 thousand seeds per hectare, and the package contains 150,000 seeds. Morphological features include light green leaf coloration with very weak blistering, presence of branching, and yellow or orange-yellow petal coloration. Plant height varies from medium to low, facilitating agronomic activities.
Hybrid R 469 CLP is included in the state register for all sunflower cultivation regions in Russia and serves as a parental component for creating new varieties. Its extensive type and high adaptability make it the optimal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality sunflower crop with high content of beneficial oil components.
