ES Armonica — this is a mid-season, intensive type sunflower hybrid developed for the Express technology. The vegetation period is 115-120 days, allowing for high yields under various climatic conditions, including steppes, forest-steppe, and lowland areas. The hybrid is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 52 to 54%, making it attractive for oil production. The recommended planting rate varies depending on soil moisture: 45-50 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 50-55 thousand under sufficient moisture.

The ES Armonica hybrid exhibits high resistance to a wide spectrum of diseases, including fusarium, rust, downy mildew, sclerotinia, verticillium wilt, and powdery mildew. Genetic resistance to new races of downy mildew provides reliable protection for crops. In addition, the plant is drought- and lodging-resistant, contributing to stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.

Plant height reaches 165-175 cm, head diameter is 22-24 cm, with the head leaning downward. For optimal growth, fertilizers containing boron and nitrogen should be applied during the 4-10 true leaf stage. For disease and pest control, it is recommended to use carbendazim, chlorpyrifos, and cypermethrin-based products, as well as herbicides containing isopropylamine salt of glyphosate. This comprehensive approach to cultivation enables the full potential of the hybrid to be realized and ensures high-quality yields.
