Hemp Glukhivskie 46

Practical Application of "Glukhivski 46" in Farming

Developed by the Institute of Bast Crops of the NAAS of Ukraine, this industrial hemp variety is a benchmark for farmers seeking reliable yields of both fiber and seeds. With a THC content consistently below 0.08%, it meets all legal standards, ensuring a hassle-free production cycle for agricultural enterprises.

Strategic Scenarios for Agribusiness

• Fiber Production: This variety is bred to produce long, durable stalks. When sown at a density of 1.5–2 million viable seeds per hectare, it provides a high-quality bast yield, suitable for textile, paper, and emerging green construction markets (hempcrete).
• Seed Production: For those focused on grain yields, the variety shows excellent productivity. Hemp oil derived from "Glukhivski 46" is highly valued in the healthy food and cosmetics sectors for its nutritional profile.
• Soil Health and Rotation: Farmers frequently use this variety as a soil restorer. Its dense canopy naturally suppresses weeds, eliminating the need for herbicides, while its deep root system improves soil aeration and structure, acting as an ideal precursor for cereal crops in a rotation.

"Glukhivski 46" is optimized for the Ukrainian climate, displaying robust germination rates and natural resistance to common hemp diseases. This reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, lowering the overall cost of production per hectare. It is a highly practical choice for businesses looking to diversify their portfolio with a sustainable, high-demand industrial crop.
