Description Vitara
VITARA is a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. This mid-late variety is characterized by high root yield, reaching 391 centners per hectare, with sugar content in the roots at 17.6%. The average weight of one root is 508 grams, and sugar collection reaches 69.5 centners per hectare. During trials, VITARA showed low susceptibility to cercosporosis, which is an important advantage for sustainable cultivation in this region. In the Central Black Earth region, the variety shows average resistance to powdery mildew and strong susceptibility to root eelworm. To achieve maximum productivity, comprehensive agronomy is recommended. Seed treatment is carried out using the Vita-Technical preparation combined with humate at a dosage of 1-2 liters per ton of seeds, as well as fertilizer grade 3:18:18 in an amount of 0.5-1.5 liters per ton. At sowing, grade 3:18:18 is applied at a dosage of 20-40 kg per hectare. During the vegetative period, 3-4 top-dressings are carried out using Vita-Technical with humate (2-4 liters per hectare), fertilizer 3:18:18 (2-6 liters per hectare), and Vita-Bor (1-3 liters per hectare). Such a feeding scheme contributes to improved growth and development of plants, increasing their resilience and yield. VITARA is a modern sugar beet hybrid that combines high productivity and disease resistance, making it a profitable choice for farmers operating in the North Caucasus region. Proper application of recommended agronomic measures allows the variety's potential to be fully realized, ensuring a stable and high-quality sugar beet harvest.
