IRINA is a mid-season single-stalk diploid hybrid sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.), developed on a sterile basis. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, particularly in the Rostov region, where it demonstrates high root crop yield, reaching an average of 392 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of about 68%.
