Description Irina
IRINA is a mid-season single-stalk diploid hybrid sugar beet (Beta vulgaris L. ssp. vulgaris var. saccharifera Alef.), developed on a sterile basis. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region, particularly in the Rostov region, where it demonstrates high root crop yield, reaching an average of 392 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of about 68%.

Sugar beet is a technical crop grown primarily for the production of sucrose, which is used in the food industry. It is a biennial root crop plant, whose roots contain a significant amount of sugar, making it an important agricultural crop for sugar production and animal feed.

Cultivating the IRINA hybrid requires adherence to agrotechnical measures aimed at achieving maximum yield and high product quality. Thanks to its characteristics, this hybrid is a profitable choice for farmers interested in efficient sugar beet production under North Caucasus region conditions.
