Sugar beet TITOV

Stability and Performance in Sugar Production

The «Titov» sugar beet hybrid from the German breeding company Strube is the choice for farmers focused on a balanced result. Belonging to the normal-sugar (NZ) type, this hybrid meets the needs of farms looking for a consistently high root yield while maintaining optimal sugar content, which is critical for efficient processing at sugar refineries.

Practical Application in Field Operations

This hybrid demonstrates excellent adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions, making it a reliable choice for intensive crop rotations. When choosing «Titov», producers focus on the following key benefits:

• Predictability: Thanks to Strube’s genetics, the hybrid reliably withstands stress factors, maintaining its yield potential right up to harvest.
• Harvest Efficiency: The shape of the root and its positioning in the soil help minimize losses during mechanical harvesting.
• Processing Quality: Stable sugar extraction rates allow for efficient planning of raw material delivery schedules, reducing the risk of deviations from quality standards.

In the field, «Titov» proves itself as a hybrid that responds well to standard agronomic practices. It shows a strong response to fertilization and effective protection against weeds and foliar diseases. Its cultivation is well-justified in operations that aim to balance total sugar yield and biomass volume, preventing significant drops in either performance metric.
