TARAS is a sugar beet hybrid distinguished by its high yield and resistance to major diseases. A medium-height plant, it is adapted to various climatic conditions, demonstrating stable performance in the Central and Volga-Vyatka regions, where average yields reach approximately 584–590 c/ha. Maximum results were recorded on experimental plots in the Tula and Nizhny Novgorod regions, where yields exceeded 630 c/ha, and sugar content in the root crops was about 20%.
Cultivating TARAS sugar beet requires a high level of agronomic preparation, especially under conditions with limited moisture and complex climate, such as in the Vinnytsia region. Despite these challenges, the hybrid shows good results, confirmed by a successful harvest on an area of 300 ha with an average yield of 60 t/ha. The harvested beet is directed to processing, indicating its high quality and demand in the market.
Sugar obtained from TARAS sugar beet is a natural product without additives, characterized by a long shelf life and high quality. It is ideal for everyday use in cooking, including the preparation of desserts, beverages, and other dishes. The product is certified and meets all food safety standards, guaranteeing its freshness and natural taste.
