Description VYUGA
VYUGA sugar beet hybrid, developed by 'SoiusSemSvekla' breeding, is intended for growing in the Ural region. It is characterized by a mid-season vegetative period of about 150 days and early harvest dates, which allows for effective use of the short growing season. The root crop has a narrow conical shape with a medium degree of soil immersion and a medium weight of about 480 grams, which facilitates its extraction and reduces contamination during harvest.

VYUGA is distinguished by high yield — up to 95 tons per hectare, while the sugar content in the root crops reaches 18.5%, ensuring a sugar output of about 17.6 tons per hectare. The hybrid has high processability, which is manifested in high juice purity and excellent storability during storage, which is important for subsequent processing and storage of the crop.

Special attention is paid to VYUGA's resistance to the main diseases of sugar beet: cercosporosis, ramularia, root rots, and powdery mildew, as well as drought. High resistance to sugar beet root fly and other pests further enhances crop reliability. All these characteristics make the VYUGA hybrid the optimal choice for agrarians working in the Ural region.
