Sugar beet MN 31 X EO 1 is a high-yielding hybrid designed for cultivation in temperate continental climates, specifically in forest-steppe and northern steppe zones of Ukraine. This hybrid is distinguished by its resistance to diseases such as rhizomania, cercosporosis, powdery mildew, and root rot, ensuring crop stability and high-quality root crops. The vegetation period of the plant is up to 120 days, corresponding to medium maturity periods.

The root crop of sugar beet MN 31 X EO 1 has a cylinder-cone shape with a smooth surface, which facilitates harvesting and reduces soil adhesion. The average root weight reaches 700 grams. The root system is taprooted, penetrating to a depth of 2-2.5 meters, which contributes to good plant nutrition and drought resistance. The leaf rosette is semi-spreading, the leaf blade is medium, entire, and moderately wavy. The hybrid is resistant to temperature fluctuations and tolerates both heat and cold well.
