Description Steve
Beet sugar variety Steve is a hybrid with high yield and sugar content potential reaching 20%. The root has a cylindrical-conical shape, average weight around 700 grams, with a relatively smooth surface, facilitating harvesting and reducing soil adhesion. The plant forms a medium-sized, semi-erect rosette with dark green, moderately corrugated leaves. The root system is taprooted, penetrating up to 2-2.5 meters deep, contributing to drought and cold resistance.

Sugar beet Steve exhibits high resistance to major diseases, including root rot, rhizomania, cercosporosis, and powdery mildew, ensuring stable yields and product quality. Recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and Polissia regions, with optimal preceding crops such as winter peas, winter wheat, and soy. Sowing rate ranges from 97,000 to 171,000 seeds per hectare, with seed depth around 75-85%. The vegetative period lasts up to 120 days, allowing for timely harvest.

Steve variety is versatile in application: used for sugar and molasses production, as well as in culinary preparations for borscht and kvass. Additionally, beet serves as a by-product feed crop. Packaging contains 100,000 seeds, recommended to be stored at +7-10°C and humidity not exceeding 10%. Due to its characteristics, Steve variety is a reliable choice for agricultural producers aiming to obtain high-quality and stable sugar beet yields.
