FD Manoir Smart is a medium-maturing hybrid sugar beet, developed based on a single-stemmed diploid plant using CONVISO® SMART technology. The plant features medium height and semi-erect leaf position with green coloration and medium leaf glossiness. The root has a cylindrical-conical shape of medium length, facilitating mechanized harvesting and cultivation.
The hybrid is characterized by high yield and sugar content. In the Central region, average yield reaches 694.2 centners per hectare with 20.8% sugar content, ensuring a sugar harvest of 143.7 centners per hectare. In the West Siberian region, indicators are slightly lower but remain high: yield of 415 centners per hectare, sugar content of 19.2%, and sugar harvest of 86.8 centners per hectare. Over field trials, FD Manoir Smart has demonstrated resistance to major diseases such as root rot, cercosporosis, and damage by root pests.
This hybrid is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the Central and West Siberian regions, and is well-adapted to mechanized harvesting. Thanks to its combination of high yield, disease resistance, and favorable agronomic traits, FD Manoir Smart is an effective choice for sugar beet production with high sugar content and stable harvests.
