Proteus is a systemic-contact insecticide of the new generation, designed for effective control of pests on various agricultural crops, including sugar beet, wheat, rapeseed, potato, and corn. The formulation contains two active ingredients — thiamethoxam (100 g/l) and deltamethrin (10 g/l), which provide a broad spectrum of activity and enable control even of pest forms resistant to other insecticides. Thanks to its complex mode of action, the product acts as both a repellent and an insect feeding inhibitor, significantly enhancing its efficacy.
The formulation is an oil dispersion, ensuring uniform distribution of active ingredients on leaf surfaces and active penetration into plant tissues. This contributes to a long-lasting protective effect and resistance to wash-off by rain. Proteus is effective at all stages of pest development, allowing reliable protection of crops throughout the treatment period.
The application rate varies depending on the crop: for sugar beet, 1.0 L/ha is recommended; for tomatoes, wheat, rapeseed, and potato — 0.5 to 0.75 L/ha; for corn — 0.5 to 1.0 L/ha. Proteus does not induce resistance in insects, making it a reliable tool for long-term use in crop protection systems.
