Sugar beet AITANA KWS

Reliable Protection for Infested Soils

Aitana KWS, a sugar beet hybrid from the German powerhouse KWS, serves as a specialized tool for farmers facing the challenges of sugar beet nematode. In regions where intensive crop rotation has led to soil infestation, standard varieties often suffer yield losses of up to 50%. Aitana KWS is engineered to withstand these pressures, ensuring consistent output where other hybrids falter.

The NZ-Type: Balancing Weight and Sugar

Classified as a Normal-Sugar (NZ) type, Aitana KWS hits the "sweet spot" in the KWS portfolio. It focuses on achieving a balance between high root tonnage and optimal sugar concentration. For producers looking to maximize harvest volume while adhering to factory quality standards, this hybrid provides a reliable economic foundation.

Key Advantages:

• Nematode Resistance: Genetic resilience provides a built-in defense mechanism, allowing for sustainable production on historically infested land.
• German Breeding Standards: KWS genetics ensure strong early-season vigor, uniform stand establishment, and predictable performance.
• Agronomic Plasticity: Designed to adapt to temperate climates, the hybrid responds effectively to intensive management practices.

Aitana KWS is an ideal choice for operations with tight crop rotations. By choosing this hybrid, producers don't just secure their harvest; they actively manage nematode populations in the soil, protecting the long-term viability of their fields. It is a strategic tool for maintaining high performance in demanding environmental conditions.
