Sugar beet hybrid "Ruby" is a medium-maturing, high-yielding, sugar-rich crop developed on a sterile N-type base. The plant is characterized by its high stature, and the root has a medium-length, broad-conical shape with a mass of approximately 730 grams. This hybrid is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region and demonstrates stable performance under field conditions, showing high yield and product quality.

The yield performance of "Ruby" is impressive: the average root yield reaches 629 centners per hectare, sugar content in the roots is 16.6%, and sugar harvest reaches 110.7 centners per hectare. Some sources note even higher sugar content—up to 20.5%—and yields up to 76 tons per hectare, indicating the hybrid's high potential. The vegetation period is 160–170 days, allowing the hybrid to develop and accumulate sugar during optimal times.

Hybrid "Ruby" exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases, including cercospora, ramulariosis, and root rots, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss. Additionally, the crop demonstrates high drought tolerance, making it a reliable choice for regions with variable climatic conditions. Beetroot stores well and has high technological value, facilitating processing and enhancing the economic efficiency of cultivation.
