Sugar beet POLL 407

Stable Yields in Challenging Pathogenic Conditions

Swiss breeding from Syngenta sets industry standards for sugar beet production, and the "POLL 407" hybrid is a key tool for those managing challenging fields. This hybrid was engineered as a direct solution to the critical threats facing modern intensive farming.

Protection and Performance

The primary advantage of choosing "POLL 407" lies in its genetic resistance to major diseases. In environments where Rhizomania and Cercospora can diminish yields by 30-50%, utilizing this hybrid acts as a proactive risk-management strategy. Syngenta has prioritized the development of a culture that focuses its energy on root development rather than disease suppression.

Agronomic Profile

The oval-conical root shape ensures both high sugar output and efficient mechanical harvesting. Its medium size facilitates optimal plant spacing per hectare, which is essential for uniform crop development.

• Root Type: Classic oval-conical shape.
• Phytosanitary Control: Strong resistance against Rhizomania and Cercospora.
• Usage: Ideal for producers requiring reliable storage potential and consistent sugar accumulation.

For agricultural enterprises seeking predictable results during the growing season, "POLL 407" stands out as one of the most balanced solutions in the Syngenta portfolio. It effectively merges elite Swiss genetic technology with the practical requirements of the modern processing industry.
