Sunflower Hysun 254

Hysun 254 sunflower is a mid-season linoleic hybrid with a vegetation period of 112 to 120 days, ensuring optimal maturation timing in various climatic zones. Plant height reaches 150-160 cm, which promotes good growth and yield formation. The hybrid is characterized by high oil content, with oil content in seeds reaching 52-54%, making it attractive for high-quality oil production.

One of the key features of Hysun 254 is its high tolerance to downy mildew, including resistance to 7 races of this pathogen (A-G+), as well as resistance to sunflower moth (ORO 7+). This significantly reduces the risk of yield losses and enhances production stability. The hybrid is adapted to conventional cultivation techniques and responds well to micronutrient and fertilizer application, allowing for optimized agronomy and yield potential up to 58 centners per hectare.

The recommended seeding rate is 45-55 thousand seeds per hectare, depending on soil moisture level. Hysun 254 successfully grows in various zones, including steppes, forest-steppes, and peatlands, confirming its versatility and adaptability. Seeds are black and supplied in packages of 150 thousand units. The hybrid is produced by well-known seed companies Alta Seeds and Advanta Seeds, guaranteeing high quality and reliability of planting material.
