Description ALANDO
ALANDO is a sugar beet hybrid intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region. The plant is of medium height with a green leaf blade and a reddish petiole. The root has a wide-conical shape, is of medium length and weighs about 686.5 grams, is fully buried in the soil, which contributes to its protection and quality development.

The hybrid is distinguished by high yield — on average 648.8 centners per hectare, with a sugar content of 17.8%, which ensures sugar collection up to 117 centners per hectare. ALANDO is resistant to diseases such as rhizomania, afanomyces rots and, to a lesser extent, is affected by cercosporosis, which increases its reliability and reduces crop losses. Recommended for harvesting in early and medium terms, which allows optimizing agronomic measures.

This variety is a single-stem diploid hybrid based on sterile N-type, which ensures stability and product quality. Thanks to its characteristics, ALANDO can serve as a replacement for hybrids such as Baikal and Molly, and is suitable for cultivation in various agroclimatic conditions of the region.
