Sugar beet POL 185

Reliability and Performance in the NZ Segment

The sugar beet hybrid POL 185 from the Belgian breeder Sesvanderhave Nv/Sa is a testament to European precision in agricultural genetics. Designed as a standard sugar-type (NZ) hybrid, it fits perfectly into farming operations that prioritize consistent, predictable yields while maintaining high quality standards for processing.

Agronomic Profile

Sesvanderhave Nv/Sa, as an industry leader, has engineered POL 185 to perform reliably across diverse environmental conditions. With a sugar content typically ranging between 16% and 17%, this hybrid provides an excellent balance that is both agronomically sound and economically attractive for commercial beet production. The key focus here is stability — ensuring that the crop performs effectively even when growing conditions are not optimal.

• Category: Sugar beet hybrid, NZ type (Normal sugar content).
• Origin: Belgium, developed by Sesvanderhave Nv/Sa.
• Performance: Consistent sugar accumulation (16-17%) and high harvest efficiency.

For modern agricultural enterprises, POL 185 offers a distinct advantage: the uniformity of the roots. This physical consistency is crucial for smooth mechanical harvesting, reducing root breakage and ensuring that the maximum possible yield reaches the transport vehicle. It is a robust choice for farmers who value the expertise of a world-renowned seed brand that consistently delivers in the sugar beet segment.
