Sugar beet Kubanskii ChS 36

Stable Sugar Beet Yields with the «Kubanskyi ChS 36» Hybrid

Selecting sugar beet seeds for modern farms requires finding a balance between high sugar content and phytosanitary stability. The diploid hybrid «Kubanskyi ChS 36» from VNIS is tailored for agricultural enterprises operating in areas with a moderate disease pressure, where minimizing root crop losses from common pathogens without over-reliance on fungicides is crucial.

Agronomic Metrics and Crop Protection

The primary goal when cultivating this hybrid is to ensure a consistent sugar yield. «Kubanskyi ChS 36» belongs to the Z (sugar) type, making it a preferred choice for processing plants seeking high-quality raw materials with a 17-18% sugar content. The hybrid's genetic resistance to root rot, downy mildew, and cercospora simplifies the development of a plant protection strategy. In intensive farming, this allows agronomists to shift focus from reactive disease control to proactive optimization of mineral nutrition and pest management.

Practical Application Scenarios

• Logistics Optimization: Due to its sugar-heavy type (Z), this hybrid is highly efficient for fields located far from processing facilities, as the high sugar percentage offsets transportation costs.
• Risk Mitigation: Resistance to cercospora allows «Kubanskyi ChS 36» to maintain its leaf canopy through to the harvest period, which directly impacts sugar accumulation during the final stage of vegetation.
• Operational Efficiency: The diploid nature of the plant ensures uniform emergence and consistent stand density, which simplifies machinery calibration for inter-row cultivation and harvesting operations.

This hybrid is recommended for farms prioritizing predictable outcomes and requiring reliable, high-quality raw materials for the sugar industry.
