Genetic Potential and Field Resistance

The French hybrid Es Florimis by Euralis Semences (Lidea) is an intensive sunflower type designed for stable yields under conditions of moderate to sufficient moisture. The technical advantage of this model lies in its complex immunity: the plant demonstrates high resistance to root and leaf pathogens, including Verticillium, Sclerotinia, Phomopsis, Phoma, and Powdery Mildew.

Agronomic Characteristics

• Vegetation Period: The medium-early cycle (100–110 days) allows for optimal use of spring and summer moisture while ensuring predictable harvest times.
• Morphology: A stem height of 180–190 cm provides excellent lodging resistance. The large, slightly convex head ensures high-quality seed filling.
• Oil Content: Oil levels range from 45% to 50%, categorizing this hybrid as highly profitable for the processing industry.
• Seed Material: Seeds are black, large, and possess high test weight.

Protection Technology: Herbicide Tolerance

A key feature of Es Florimis is its genetic resistance to imidazolinone herbicides (the "Clearfield" / "Euro-Lightning" system). This solution allows farmers to effectively control weeds, including difficult species and broomrape, directly within the crop without phytotoxic effects. Peronospora is not a threat to this hybrid due to the breeding protection established by the originator, Euralis Semences.
