ES Florimis, a hybrid sunflower from Euralis, is a mid-season oilseed hybrid with a vegetation period of 105-110 days. It belongs to an intensive type and has high yield potential, reaching 40-45 centners per hectare, with a potential of up to 5 tons per hectare. Seeds are large, black, with a 1000-seed weight of about 60 grams and oil content up to 49%. Plant height can reach 180 cm, depending on soil moisture, and the flower head diameter is up to 23 cm, slightly raised. The recommended planting density is 50-65 thousand plants per hectare.
ES Florimis exhibits high drought resistance and broad-spectrum disease resistance, including resistance to downy mildew (resistance to races A-E), fomopsis, fomosis, verticillium, false powdery mildew, as well as sclerotinia of the flower head and stem. Thanks to its strong root system and high leafiness, the hybrid ensures stable and high yields even under adverse climatic conditions.
The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Steppe, as well as Northern Steppe. Seeds are packaged in bags of 150,000 units. ES Florimis belongs to the Clearfield® CL type, allowing the use of specialized treatment technologies, such as Maxim XL 035 FS, for effective weed control and increased crop productivity.
