ICB 0802

ICB 0802 is a high-yielding sugar beet hybrid designed for cultivation in all regions of the sugar beet growing zone. The plant forms a conical-shaped root, approximately 90% buried in the soil, weighing around 700 grams. The sugar content of the roots reaches 19%, ensuring high technological value for sugar production. Under proper agronomic practices, one hectare can yield up to 85 tons of premium product.

The hybrid exhibits tolerance to major pathogens, including cercospora and rhizomania, reducing the risk of crop losses and enhancing crop resilience. Leaves are moderately wide, light green in color, positioned on long vertical petioles, promoting efficient photosynthesis and good inter-row ventilation. The vegetative period requires monitoring for pests and pathogens, with plant protection measures applied as needed.

ICB 0802 roots are easily cleaned of root hair during harvesting, facilitating their delivery for processing. The hybrid stores well in heaps, exhibits enhanced storability and resistance to rot, allowing the preservation of product quality over a long period. Optimal growing conditions include winter sowing and seed germination temperature around +10-12°C, with growth and development temperatures of +20-22°C.
