Sugar beet FD Vitamine

FD Vitamine — high-yielding medium-maturing hybrid sugar beet, suitable for cultivation in all soil-climate zones of the sugar beet-growing region. The hybrid’s growing period ranges from 120 to 145 days, enabling its effective use in various regions. Plants exhibit rapid growth in early stages, with a broad rosette and moderately ribbed leaf blades. The root has a conical shape and is fully buried in the soil at harvest, reducing contamination and facilitating mechanical harvesting. The FD Vitamine hybrid features high sugar content in mature roots, ranging from 17.58% to 19.35%, with average yields of 71.2–81.6 tons per hectare. Root weight is approximately 910 grams, with sugar content reaching 15.8%. Plant density at harvest is 95–105 thousand per hectare, ensuring optimal land use and high productivity. Roots begin harvesting in mid-to-late periods, yet the hybrid is also suitable for early harvest. FD Vitamine demonstrates high tolerance to major sugar beet pathogens, particularly rhizomania and cercospora, reducing yield loss risks and enhancing production stability. Thanks to these qualities and adaptability to various growing conditions, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality sugar beet yields with minimal crop protection costs.
