Sunflower A 105 R is a high-yielding, mid-ripening hybrid of Ukrainian selection, characterized by high adaptability and ecological plasticity. It features strong growth energy and high yield potential, reaching up to 5.0 t/ha. Plants grow to a height of 160-165 cm, with a flower head diameter of 18-22 cm. Oil content in seeds ranges from 48-50%, making this hybrid attractive for oil production. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture levels: 62-65 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered zones and 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in moderately watered zones. Hybrid A 105 R exhibits high resistance to five races (A-E) of downy mildew (Peronospora), allowing its cultivation on fields infested by this parasite. It also possesses high drought tolerance, lodging resistance, and shattering resistance, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. Tolerance to imidazolinone herbicides enables effective application of "Clean Field" technologies, including herbicides such as Evrolightning, without visible signs of plant intoxication. This makes the hybrid particularly suitable for cultivation in forest-steppe, steppe, and Polissia regions, as well as in areas with insufficient moisture. Additionally, sunflower A 105 R exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including blackleg, powdery mildew, frogeye, rust, false powdery mildew, gray rot, and white rot. These traits provide reliable plant protection and contribute to obtaining high-quality yields. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Ukraine, such as Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Luhansk, and Kharkiv, where it demonstrates stable yield and oil content performance.
