Sugar beet BTS 5825

Beet sugar variety BTS 5825 is a high-yielding hybrid recommended for cultivation in various regions, including the Central Black Earth, Volga, and Ural. This late-maturing variety is characterized by high productivity and root weight of approximately 681 grams, ensuring significant yield. The root has a broad-conical shape and is fully embedded in the soil, which contributes to its protection and quality development.

BTS 5825 exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as Fusarium rot, cercospora, aphanomyces, and powdery mildew. Thanks to this, the variety adapts well to different soil-climatic conditions and is suitable for planting on diverse plots. Resistance to downy mildew and root rots further enhances cultivation reliability and reduces the risk of yield losses.

The variety provides a high sugar content in roots, reaching 16.7% in the Central Black Earth region, as well as excellent quality beet juice. BTS 5825 is suitable for cultivation using modern crop management technologies and is recommended for harvesting in early to mid-seasons, allowing optimization of agronomic processes and increased economic efficiency of production.
