BTS 950

BTS 950 — a high-yielding hybrid sugar beet, registered in the State Register of Selection Achievements. This medium-early variety features a conical root shape and is suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions, particularly in the Central Chernozem and North Caucasus regions. The hybrid demonstrates high productivity with yields of approximately 557.2 t/ha in the Central Chernozem Region and 514.2 t/ha in the North Caucasus, confirming its adaptability and stability across different agroclimatic zones.

One of the key features of BTS 950 is its resistance to major sugar beet diseases. The hybrid has moderate resistance to cercosporosis and root rots, as well as basic resistance to fusarium. Additionally, it is tolerant to powdery mildew and shows low incidence of root maggots, significantly reducing yield losses and improving root quality.
