Axel

Beet sugar hybrid Axel is a high-yielding variety with high yield potential and increased sugar content. The plant forms a medium-sized rosette of leaves with semi-spreading shape and dark green color; one plant produces 50 to 60 leaves. The root system is taprooted, penetrating soil to a depth of 2–2.5 meters, and the root crop has a cylindrical-conical shape, fully buried in the soil by 85%, which contributes to its good storage quality.

Hybrid Axel exhibits high resistance to major sugar beet diseases such as cercospora, powdery mildew, rhizomania, and root rot.
