HAVSKAYA is a mid-season, single-stem table beet variety distinguished by its high taste qualities and good storability during long-term storage. The roots have an oval shape with slight roughness and are colored dark red. The flesh is tender, juicy, without rings, red in color with a bright burgundy tint. The mass of roots ranges from 300 to 500 grams, making them convenient for various uses.
The variety has high marketability and disease resistance, ensuring a stable yield of 3-5 kg per square meter. HAVSKAYA beets are suitable for both fresh consumption and canning. The seeds have undergone pre-sowing treatment and meet quality standards, guaranteeing good germination and plant development.
For successful cultivation, it is recommended to sow seeds when the soil warms above 4-6 °C, planting them 3-4 cm deep in light soils and 2-3 cm deep in heavy soils. The optimal temperature for plant growth is 15-22 °C. Proper care involves timely watering, weeding, and soil loosening. It is not recommended to plant HAVSKAYA beets in the first year after applying organic fertilizers.
