Generalskaya beet is famous for its excellent taste qualities: the flesh is dense, juicy, and sweet, without coarse fibers and rings. Thanks to these characteristics, the root crop cooks quickly and is suitable for various types of processing, including canning. The beet is excellent for serving at festive tables, for example, as a side dish to meat dishes. In addition, the variety has high shelf life, maintaining commercial appearance and taste properties throughout the cold period until the new harvest.

For successful cultivation of Generalskaya beet, it is recommended to plant it after the threat of frost has disappeared at a soil temperature of 8-10°C and ensure timely and full care. The vegetation period is 115-125 days. The variety is resistant to diseases and contains useful biologically active substances, such as antioxidants, potassium, and folic acid, which makes it valuable not only in cuisine but also in medicine.
