Bresko

Bresko — a mid-season hybrid of table beet with a vegetation period of about 108 days. The roots are round, medium-sized, red-purple in color, with a smooth surface. The flesh has a rich purple hue, and root mass varies from 150 to 300 grams. Sugar content (Brix) is 9.6%, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The plant forms a semi-spreading rosette of leaves with compact attachment of the leafy apparatus to the root, which increases the useful root area and is especially important during boiling and other thermal processing.

The Bresko hybrid is highly resistant to powdery mildew and cercospora, contributing to stable yields and high product quality. The absence of ringed roots and uniform root shape make this variety especially attractive for cultivation. Due to its characteristics, beet is suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term storage, expanding its application in various sectors.

The recommended seeding rate is 0.4 to 0.7 million seeds per hectare, with optimal sowing times from April to June. The hybrid is produced in the Netherlands, guaranteeing high-quality seed material and compliance with modern agronomic requirements.
