Soy 'Isidore' is a medium-maturity determinate variety developed by French breeders of Euralis Semences and the breeding company LIDEA FRANCE. The plant is of medium height with a semi-erect stem and pointed egg-shaped leaves. Seeds are of medium size, yellow in color with a black hilum, and possess high processing quality. The mass of 1000 seeds is approximately 206 grams.
The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging, shattering, and drought, which ensures yield stability under various climatic conditions. It also shows excellent resistance to diseases, reducing the need for intensive plant protection. Due to these qualities, 'Isidore' is suitable for cultivation in various regions, including the North Caucasus region and territories with different agro-climatic conditions.
'Isidore' is characterized by high protein content in seeds—averaging 40.7–42%—as well as high oil content—approximately 20–21.3%. The potential yield of the variety reaches 32.5–34.3 centners per hectare, making it one of the best in terms of productivity and quality. The high protein and oil content in seeds provides the variety with wide application in the food and feed industries, and is advantageous for processing.
