Soybean variety Bereginya is a mid-early maturing variety recommended for cultivation in steppe regions. It is characterized by high yield up to 3.0 tons per hectare and plant density at harvest within 600-700 thousand plants per hectare. The variety is distinguished by high protein content — around 43%, as well as oil content at the level of 20%, making it valuable for agricultural production.
Bereginya exhibits resistance to various diseases and stress factors, ensuring adaptation to diverse soil-climatic conditions. High seed germination rate, reaching 92-95%, contributes to successful sowing and stable yields. The variety was registered in 2002 and developed by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine.
Soybean seeds of Bereginya are used in agriculture for growing a crop that is important for producing various products, including vegetable oils. Seeds are available in various quantities and may have herbicide resistance, which facilitates crop care and increases production efficiency.
