Arnika

Soybean variety Arnika is an ultra-early maturing variety intended for use in feed production and food industry. The vegetation period is approximately 83-85 days, allowing for harvest within a short timeframe. Plants reach a height of 75-80 cm, with the lower pods attached at a height of 10-12 cm. The growth habit is intermediate, with inflorescences forming multi-flowered racemes, each bearing 14-16 white flowers. Seeds are oval, yellow in color with a yellow hilum and a white "eye". The 1000-seed weight is 155-160 g.

Variety Arnika is distinguished by high protein content — 40-42% and oil content — 20-22%, making it valuable for food industry and feed production. Yield reaches 3.2 t/ha, and under certain conditions may reach up to 3.5 t/ha. The plant exhibits high resistance to the most common diseases and maximum drought tolerance, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions.

Recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Steppe zones of Ukraine, where the variety is well-adapted and shows high productivity. Arnika is a good preceding crop for winter wheat, contributing to improved soil structure and enhanced crop rotation efficiency.
