The plant is characterized by medium height with high lodging resistance, which contributes to crop preservation and facilitates harvesting.
The VELEKAN variety has good frost resistance and is adapted to various climatic conditions, including the northern and central regions of Russia. Drought resistance is at the level of standard indicators, allowing it to be grown in regions with variable moisture. The grain of the variety has an elliptical or round shape, is white in color with a semi-dense endosperm, and the mass of 1000 grains varies from 16.7 to 27.4 grams.
