DKC4897 Sweet Corn is a hybrid variety with a vegetation period of 115 to 123 days, suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polesie, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. Plants reach a height of 250-260 cm, with ear attachment at approximately 92 cm. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to stalk and ear diseases, as well as lodging, ensuring stable yields and product quality.

DKC4897 plants feature healthy, strong stalks with a robust root system, contributing to their resilience under adverse conditions and drought. The hybrid forms a large number of rows of kernels — from 20 to 22 — positively impacting yield. Recommended planting density varies depending on moisture conditions: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 60-65 thousand under unstable conditions, and 50-55 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture.

DKC4897 is suitable for cultivation on all soil types, except sandy soils, and adapts well to monoculture and prolonged fallow periods. The hybrid can be used for both grain and silage production, making it a versatile solution for agricultural enterprises. For storage, it is recommended to maintain temperature within +7-10°С and humidity not exceeding 10%, which helps preserve the quality of grain and silage.
