Sorghum Sweeter-N-Honey BMR (327/38) / Chudoviy VMR

Working with the "Chudovyi VMR" variety

When selecting sorghum for comprehensive farm needs, reliability is the number one priority. In the field, this crop behaves predictably: its robust stalks and high adaptability ensure a stable output even when weather conditions are far from perfect.

Multi-purpose usage

The main strength of this variety is its flexibility.

• Hay: produces a significant biomass that dries efficiently and maintains high nutrient density.
• Silage: high leaf-to-stem ratio combined with light brown grain provides excellent fermentation and nutritional quality.
• Grain: delivers a consistent yield, which is crucial for balancing livestock rations.

Managing this crop is straightforward. It responds well to standard agricultural practices and does not require overly complex herbicide schedules. The light brown color of the grain acts as a reliable maturity indicator, making it easy to schedule harvest operations. From an operational standpoint, the variety is quite resilient, recovering quickly after dry spells, which is a significant advantage in our region.

Operational efficiency

During harvest, "Chudovyi VMR" is a "trouble-free" crop. This saves both fuel and time, keeping maintenance costs low. For any farmer looking for a balance between labor input and high-quality feed resources, this variety is a dependable, proven choice that simplifies the production cycle.
