Soybean variety Wave is a fast-maturing hybrid developed by individual selection from the hybrid population L.364/Chernyatka of the NNC 'Institute of Agronomy of UAAN'. This variety is characterized by high grain quality and reliable yield, making it popular for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including steppes, forest-steppe, and Polissia. Plant height reaches 85-90 cm, and plant density at harvest time is 650-700 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to achieving a potential yield of up to 3.4 tons per hectare.
Soybean Wave is characterized by high resistance to common diseases and stress factors, including low temperatures during flowering and fruiting. Additionally, the variety shows sufficient resistance to pod cracking and seed shattering, ensuring yield preservation and improving its quality. Oil content in the grain is 21-22%, and protein content reaches 40-42%, making this variety attractive for the production of food and feed products.
Variety Wave is recommended for main crops and can be used as a preceding crop for winter crops in all soybean cultivation zones. It can also be used for planting after harvesting previous crops, expanding the possibilities of agronomic use. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, soybean Wave is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain a stable and high-quality yield.
