Yug 30

Soybean variety Yug 30 is a medium-maturing type with a vegetation period of 100-102 days and belongs to early-maturing types. This variety was developed by individual selection from the hybrid population Yug-30 / Ustye at the NNC 'Institute of Agriculture of UAAN'. Plants reach a height of 87-90 cm, with lower pods attached at a height of 13-14 cm. Characteristic features of the variety include an anthocyanin-colored hypocotyl, reddish pubescence, trifoliate leaves with broadly ovate central leaflets, purple flowers, and yellowish-brown coloration of slightly curved pods. Seeds are oval, yellow with a brown hilum, weighing 235-245 g per 1000 seeds. Yug 30 is distinguished by high yield, reaching 32 centners per hectare, and high grain quality. The variety has sufficient resistance to pod splitting and shattering, ensuring yield stability. It is resistant to infection by the most common diseases and to low temperatures during flowering and fruiting, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in forest-steppe regions of Ukraine. Protein content in the grain is 41-42%, and fat content is 20-21%, confirming its high nutritional value. For sowing, it is recommended to use wide-row planting with row spacing up to 45 cm or dense planting, with a seeding rate of 110-130 kg per hectare. Plant density at harvest should be 650-700 thousand plants per hectare. Variety Yug 30 has been included in the State Register of Plant Varieties of Ukraine since 2015 and guarantees stable use as a preceding crop for winter crops in soybean cultivation regions.
