Poseidon

The Poseidon pepper variety is a very early and high-yielding hot pepper with a vegetation period of about 90-110 days. The plant is tall, reaching a height of 150-165 cm, and is resistant to stress and diseases, making it adaptable to various growing conditions. Poseidon is suitable for both open ground and greenhouses, including unheated ones, and performs best on sunny and warm plots.

The peppers are elongated, slender, about 12 cm long, and shaped like goat or ram horns. They are green in technical maturity and turn bright red in biological maturity. The pepper has a mild but noticeable spiciness, with a maximum heat level of up to 1500 SHU, as well as a rich aroma. These characteristics make it versatile for culinary use.

The variety is widely used fresh and dried as a spice for meat, fish, and vegetable dishes. It is excellent for adding to sauces, hot soups, rice, marinades, and for pickling and preserving vegetables. The fruits store and transport well, ensuring convenience in use and sale.
