Cheremosh

Cheremosh soybean variety is an early or mid-season variety with high yield potential, averaging 5.3 to 4.7 tons per hectare, and in certain regions and conditions, yield may exceed 39 centners per hectare. Plants of this variety have semi-determinate or indeterminate growth type, medium height with upright or semi-upright form and reddish-brown pubescence. Leaves are medium-sized, ovate-lanceolate with moderate pubescence, flowers are purple, and seeds are large, yellow-green with yellow hilum. Seed mass per thousand is approximately 172 grams.

The Cheremosh variety is distinguished by high resistance to a range of diseases, including peronosporosis, septosporosis, ascochytosis, as well as lodging and shattering, making it suitable for mechanized harvesting. It is adapted to various soil-climatic conditions and successfully cultivated in different regions, including the Central Chernozem region of Russia and several areas of Kazakhstan, such as Almaty, Jambyl, Akmola, and South Kazakhstan.

Seed quality indicators of the Cheremosh variety are high: protein content in seeds ranges from 44.4% to 47%, and oil content is approximately 21-22%. This significantly exceeds standard indicators for protein and oil content and collection, making this variety attractive for agricultural production aimed at obtaining high-quality raw materials. The recommended plant density at harvest is 660-680 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to maximum productivity and quality of the harvest.
