Description Apollo
Spinach Apollo F1 — an early-maturing hybrid of Japanese selection from the company SAKATA, intended for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, polytunnels, and even on balcony beds. This variety is characterized by high cold resistance and can be planted at temperatures as low as +4-5°C, with the optimal growth temperature being +20-25°C. Due to its adaptability to various climatic conditions, Apollo F1 is suitable for year-round cultivation in any region of the country, starting from March and up to June. The plant requires careful care during dry periods and has specific requirements for soil quality and agronomic practices.

The plant forms a compact, raised rosette 20-30 cm tall with dense, slightly corrugated, oval-round leaves of rich green color. The leaves have a slightly wavy surface and are rich in fiber, vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. Spinach Apollo F1 is recommended for consumption fresh, as it retains its beneficial properties even after freezing. The hybrid is characterized by late bolting, which extends the harvest period.

The maturation period is 30-45 days, allowing for early harvests in spring and autumn. Yield reaches 1.8-2.5 kg per square meter, making the variety highly productive. Apollo F1 has immunity to downy mildew and resistance to powdery mildew, significantly reducing the risk of diseases and improving product quality. This variety is ideal for fresh vegetable markets, processing, and freezing, combining high marketability with stable yields.
